Actress Akanksha Malhotra is the daughter of Prem Krishna. Her grandparents are Prem Nath and Bina Rai.
Her first movie was Le Chal Apne Sang (2000) and then she was seen in Narayana Rao Dasari's Chinna (2001). She acted opposite Rahul Bhatt in Yeh Mohabbat Hai where she played the role of Shaheen. It was a love story with a lot of complications in marriage. She also played a small role in J.P.Dutta's film LOC: Kargil.
