Bakhtiyaar Irani is married to actress Tanaaz Currim and they have a son, Zeos. Actress Delnaaz Paul is his sister who is married to actor Rajiv Paul.

Television:
Bakhtiyaar Irani has appeared in a number of TV serials and dance shows. He is a very good dancer and has appeared in a number of dance competitions like Nach Baliye with his wife Tanaaz and Zara Nachke Dikha on Star One. He has hosted a dance show Airtel Crazy Kiya Ray 2 with Sudha Chandran.
The actor is known for his role as Shahrukh Batliwala in Batliwala House No.43 on Sony TV. Bakhtiyaar also played SRK or Shiv Raj Khosla in Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki aired on Sab TV. Along with his wife Tannaz, he participated in Star One's comedy show Hans Baliye but the couple were eliminated after a few weeks.
After working together in TV serials, shows, and plays, the couple were a part of a music album, which was directed by Abbas-Mustan and choreographed by Bosco and Caesar.
Movies:
Bakhtiyar appeared in Himesh Reshammiya's Karzzzz (2008) where he played a character named Dr.Dayal. The movie's performance was below average.
His upcoming release is Gautam Adhikari's Love Ka Tadka (2009), a comic love story starring Nauheed Cyrusi and Sammir Dattani.
He is currently working on a film named Kisses Love Phillum Dosti - Truth Or Dare (2009). This movie is directed by Anirudh Chawla and is produced by a multinational company, Tearpol. It is India's first movie which is based on a reality show.
Big Boss(Season 3):
Irani and his wife recently entered the Big Boss house leaving their son alone. This show is aired on Colors TV hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. There are 13 contestants including them on the show.
