Boney Kapoor was born on 11th November 1955 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. His father Surinder Kapoor was also a movie producer. He has two brothers, Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, both of whom are actors. Anil Kapoor was recently seen in the Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire. He also has a sister, Reena, who is married to Marwah who is part of the Film and Video Studios in Noida.

The film stars Anil Kapoor in double role-Anil Kapoor(elder Brother) and Anil Kapoor(second brother-Businessman),Fardeen Khan(Third Brother),Shahid Kapoor(Fourth brother),Rani Mukerjee,Vidya Balan,Asin or Anjana Sukhani,Anoushka Serma,Irfan Khan,Boman Irani,Rajpal Yadav,Vijay raaz,Purab Kohli or Arjun Rampal.
