Farida Tabrez Barmavar / Jalal (born May 18) is a Bollywood actress.
Jalal was married to actor Tabrez Barmavar who died in September 2003 and has a son named Yaseen.
Farida Jalal started her career in the sixties, when she won the United Film Producers Talent Hunt sponsored by Filmfare.Starting in the 60s and all through the 70s Farida Jalal appeared in
co-staring roles with all the top actors of the day; Dharmendra, Saira
Banu, Dilip Kumar, Waheeda Rehman, Rajesh Khanna, Feroz Khan, Hema
