Girish Dhamija puts words in the actors’ mouth. He writes dialogues. He is also a director in Bollywood.
He holds a post graduate degree in theater from the Punjab University. He has written dialogues for movies which revolve around criminals, horror, and corruption.
Dhamija’s Dialogues Dhamija found himself, penning dialogues for some brilliant movies at the start of his career: Dushman (1998), Zakhm (1998), Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan (1999), Sangharsh (1999), Kasoor (2001), and Raaz (2002). These movies starred various actors like Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Lisa Ray, and Kajol.
In 2006, Gangster, which was said to be ‘inspired’ by real life don Abu Salem, was released. The movie 1920 (2008), a horror flick and Acid Factory (2009) got decent reviews.
Director Dhamija took up directing movies with Yakeen (2005). He has two movies in hand – Dial M for Marriage and Phir. The latter will be released in 2009. It is a love story mixed with some suspense and karma.
