Maqsood Mehmood Ali, aka Lucky Ali, was born on 19th September 1958 in India. His father was the comedian Mehmood and his mother was Mahelaka, actress Meena Kumari’s sister. On his maternal side, Mehmood is part Bengali and part Afghani. He is one of eight children. One of his brothers Manzoor Ali is an actor.
