The beautiful Meghna Gulzar is a Bollywood film director.
She is actress Rakhi and lyricist Gulzar's daughter. This young director started her career as an assistant director for movies like Maachis (1996) and Hu Tu Tu (1999). Her directorial debut was Filhaal (2002). This movie was about surrogate motherhood. Tabu, Sushmita Sen, and Sanjay Suri played the lead roles but this movie failed at the box office.
Just Married: Marriage Was Only the Beginning! (2007) was her second movie. Even this movie could not bring much success to her. This Fardeen Khan and Esha Deol starrer was about arranged marriage. Meghna changed the title of this movie twice, from First Honeymoon to Baat Pakki and finally it was Just Married.
In 2007, she directed one of the segments titled Pooranmashi in the movie Dus Kahaniyaan (2007). There were ten stories in this movie by ten diffrent directors.
Meghna has also written the dialogues and screenplay for some of her movies like Hu Tu Tu (1999), Filhaal (2002), Just Married: Marriage Was Only the Beginning! (2007), and Dus Kahaniyaan (2007).
She is currently working on Bread Butter And Cash with White Feather Films.
