Naushil Mehta, a writer, has worked on 3 films till date.
He was one of the writers of Hero Hiralal (1988), starring Naseeruddin Shah and Sanjana Kapoor (Shashi Kapoor’s daughter). The film did alright at the box office.
However, after 1988 Naushil seemed to disappear from the scene, only to resurface as the dialogue writer of Kuch Naa Kaho (2003), starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. This family drama didn’t break any box office records either.
And now after another long hiatus, he has come back in 2009 to write the screenplay and dialogues of What’s Your Rashee (2009). The film is due to release on 25th September. The movie is already in the news as Priyanka Chopra has played 12 different characters in it, and she stars with ex-flame Harman Baweja. Controversies apart, we’ll know how good Naushil is only once the film releases.
