V. Ravichandran is a well established producer and distributor. Also known as Oscar Ravichandran and Aaskar Ravichandran, he runs the production company Aaskar Films.
He was the distributor of Kadhalukku Mariyadhai (1998). He produced the award winning Vanathai Pola (2000).
Other movies that they have produced are Poovellam Un Vasam (2001), Roja Kootam (2002), Anniyan (2005) and Dasavatharam (2008).
In 2009, his company will be producing Ananda Tandavam and Leelai.
