Biography

Pritam Chakraborty, or Pritam as he is more commonly known, is a singer, Music Director and Composer. Music runs in the blood of this Bengali; his dad Prabodh Chakraborty runs a music school for children, and was his first teacher.

While at college he formed a band called “Jotugriher Pakhi”, and later on was a part of another Bengali band named “Chandrabindoo”. In 1993 he joined the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.
