R.Balakrishnan, popularly known as Balki, is the man who directed Cheeni Kum (2007), a romantic comedy. The movie starred Amitabh Bachchan as a chef who falls in love with the much younger Tabu.
The adman is the Creative Director of Lowe, which handles the Unilever account.
In 2009, he has another ambitious project in hand. Paa is a movie which stars Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. Bachchan Senior plays a boy who suffers from a condition called Progeria which causes him to age quickly.
