He has acted in a couple of Bengali movies. One of the Bengali movies in which he acted is Nil Nirjane (2003) and another one is Paromitar Ek Din which is also made in Telugu and Tamil languages. He was also seen in the Hindi movie Mr and Mrs Iyer (2002) where he played the role of a card player.
He was recently seen in Vishal Bharadwaj's Kaminey, starring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Rajatabha plays the role of Shumon in the movie.
