Biography

Rajkumar Santoshi is an award winning director and producer in Bollywood. His movies often are hard hitting, real and he avoids remakes. He is also known to bring out the best in his actors.

His father was the choreographer P.L.Santoshi.

He worked as an assistant director for Govind Nihalani’s Ardh Satya (1982). His movies Ghayal (1990) and Damini (1993) starred Sunny Deol. He won the Filmfare Best Director for both the movies.
