Ranjit Kapoor: an actor, writer and director all rolled into one. He started off as a dialogue writer in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro (1983). The comedy went to become a very big hit, and even now is considered to be the one of the best comedy films ever made in Bollywood. Ranjit Kapoor had arrived with a bang.
He wrote the dialogues and was the associate script writer for the Vidhu Vinod Chopra film Khamosh (1985). He proved that he can not only write comedies, but as in this case, a mystery thriller. Khamosh was a murder mystery, filmed on a Bollywood film crew.
