Ruslaan Mumtaz is actress Anjana Mumtaz’s son. After a few modelling assignments he turned to movies. He was seen in the Aap Jaisa Koi remix video. He’s trained at Shiamak Davar’s dance school.

Ruslaan made his debut in 2007 with MP3 – Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar, which wasn’t a hit but worked well for the younger crowd. Tere Sang and Jaane Kaha Se Aayi Hai were his releases in 2008.
Ruslaan Mumtaz’s next release Christopher Miles’ The Last Pharaoh will see him as the philandering pharaoh Farouk with a strong chance that Keira Knightley will be part of the cast.
