Shahana Goswami is a 1986 born, coming from New Delhi, India. Her father is an economist while her mother works as an editorial consultant. She has an older brother at Cambridge University.
She completed her education at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in New Delhi and later at Sophia College in Mumbai. She was active in sports and won second place at the National Artificial Wall Climbing Competition. She is a trained Odissi dancer.
Shahana worked as production assistant for Working Title, a theater group. She also acted in plays like Seagull and Arabian Nights.
She was recently seen in a music video by Dido called Let’s Do The Things We Normally Do.
Shahana Goswami’s Movies
Shahana Goswami’s first movie was Naseeruddin Shah’s Yun Hota To Kya Hota (2006). After this she had a small role in the comedy Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd (2007) as Boman Irani’s daughter.
In Abhishek Kapoor’s Rock On (2008), she played the role of a frustrated and nagging wife Debbie opposite Arjun Rampal. Her performance was well received. She was seen with Randeep Hooda in Ru Ba Ru that didn’t do well at the box office.
In 2009, she appeared in Nandita Das’ Firaaq. Her movies due for release in 2009 are Tera Kya Hoga Johnny with Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vinay Shukla’s Mirch and Jashn.
