Shankar Nag was a very talented actor and director of Kannada cinema. He directed R.K.Narayan's Malgudi Days.
PERSONAL DETAILS Shankar Nag was born on 9th November 1954 in Mallapur village of Karnataka moved to Mumbai after finishing his education. He joined Marathi theater where he met actress Arundhathi in a drama rehearsal and eventually they got married. His brother Anant Nag was a well established actor and he wanted Shankar to become an actor. Though he has never learnt Martial Arts he known by the nickname, Karate King.
