Shefali Shah is like a breath of fresh air with her unassuming ways and one of those rare actresses who puts acting before glamour.
Basics on Shefali Shefali Shah was born as Shefali Shetty to Sudhakar Shetty who was with the RBI and Shobha Shetty, a homeopathy doctor. She studied at the Arya Vidya Mandir in Mumbai.
Shah was married to Harsh Chhaya and after their divorce married director Vipul Amrutlal Shah with whom she has two sons Aryaman and Maurya.

In Waqt: The Race Against time (2005), directed by her husband, she played Amitabh Bachchan’s wife. In Mira Nair’s 15 Park Avenue she played Rahul Bose’s wife whose insecurities come to the front when they cross paths with his schizophrenic ex-girlfriend.
Feroz Abbas Khan’s Gandhi, My Father (2007) saw her as Kasturba Gandhi. She was seen in the Amitabh Bachchan starrer The Last Lear (2007) and as Roma Mathur in Subhash Ghai’s Black & White (2008).
Television Shefali Shah has acted in popular television serials like Banegi Apni Baat, Raahein and Kabhie Kabhie.
