Suparn Verma’s Writerly Life Suparna Verma’s first Bollywood script was Chhal (2002) which was an action thriller with Kay Kay Menon playing an undercover agent who enters the underworld gang.
The next movie he scripted was Harry Baweja’s Qayamat: City Under Fire (2003). This time he brought in terrorists and a CBI officer. Sunil Shetty played the role of a CBI officer while Rachit, played by Ajay Devgan, is an ex-convict. He worked on the screenplay of Feroz Khan’s Janasheen (2003).
The Director In 2005, he wrote and directed Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena which centered around a conman played by Fardeen Khan.
After nearly four years, he is bringing to the screen Acid Factory (2009), which is an unusual story about memory loss. The movie stars Diya Mirza, Fardeen Khan and Manoj Bajpai. Acid Factory’s release is to be followed by a drama, EKEH Version 2.0, which Verma has written and directed.
