Vipul Amrutlal Shah is a writer, producer and director in Bollywood. Though just four films old as a director, all his movies have done well.
Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Movies
In 2001, he wrote the screenplay for the successful Tamil movie Minnale that was remade in Hindi as Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein.
He wrote and directed Aankhen (2002) which was based on a Gujarati play Andhalo Pato about a bank robbery by three blind men. Waqt: The Race Against Time (2005) was again inspired by a play but was an average runner at the box office. Both movies starred Amitabh Bacchan and Akshay Kumar.
The romantic comedy Namastey London (2007) was a huge success and starred Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar. He produced the popular Singh Is Kinng (2008).
He is working with Asin, Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan in London Dreams about rock stars, to be released in 2009. The other release is Flash Forward with Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai and Arjun Rampal.
