Waheeda Rehman is a beautiful actress of the 60s and 70s and a recipient of the Padmashri Award in 1972.

BASICS
Waheeda Rehman was born on May 14, 1936 in Chengalpattu,Tamil Nadu, in a traditional Muslim family. Her father was a District Magistrate. She lost her father when she was 12 years old. Waheeda wanted to become a doctor but due to some kind of infection in her lungs, she could not accompalish it. She is trained in Bharatnatyam.
