JD Chakravarthy’s All the Best, which released today turned out to be a major disappointment. The film is a remake of Hindi All the Best and indeed a bad remake. ‘Ravi’ (Srikanth) is forced to earn money at any cost to save his father (Kota Srinivasa Rao) who has been accused of cheating the bank with a huge amount. In order to save his father, Ravi has to pay the amount in the court and get his father out of the problem. To earn the amount, he joins hands with small time crook ‘Chandu’ (JD). How Chandu and Ravi rescue Ravi’s father forms the rest of the story.
Srikanth, JD Chakravarthy, Kota, Bramhanandam, Anisha Singh, Lucky Sharma

JD Chakravarthy

Perhaps this is the only film in the recent times where after watching Brahmanandam we get irritated. There is an ensemble of all the leading comedians in this film, but unfortunately none were able to bring laughs. Though a remake, JD didn’t have a good script in hand to execute this film. After having directed interesting gangsters’ films JD tried a new genre, albeit to major disappointment. Though the story has number of twists and turns, the director loses the story from his hands in the midway and abandons it to the fate of audience.
Watch the movie for:
- Excellent dialogues
- Srikanth and JD for their performance
Skip movie for:
- Bad music
- Bad production
- Bad technical values
Overall nothing much to mention except that it was a wasted effort from JD and team.
