‘David Billa’ (Ajith Kumar) is a courageous young man who reaches the shores of neighbouring Tamil Nadu as part of a huge group of Sri Lankan Tamils who have just fled their homeland fearing danger to their lives. The holy city of Rameswaram brings about no change in the attitude of carefree Billa, who daringly opposes everyone who crosses him the ‘wrong’ way.
Born with an iron-will and limitless guts and gusto, Billa appears to others like a man who’s ready to take on the world, not fearing the consequences he might have to face. One day, he manages to eke out some money by means of an illegal activity. The success he achieves through that changes his life altogether.
His rise is not even controlled or kept in check by powerful politicians.

Billa-2 (sequel to the star’s hit film Billa of 2007) travels back in time to explore the reasons behind how a commoner turns into dreaded don.
Watch the movie for:
- Ajith’s acting, stunts and his stylish looks
- The oomph factor added by Parvathy and Bruna Abdullah
- Cinematography
- Songs and background score
Skip the movie for:
- Shoddy editing at a few places
- Clichéd narration
- No comedy elements or romance
On the whole Billa 2 is for Ajith fans alone!
