Ajith-starrer Billa-2 has been given an 'A' certificate with minor cuts and that hasn't pleased the producer too much. It is said the makers were apparently not happy with the Censor board move and were not keen to take the large number of cuts initially.
Meanwhile, now the producer Sunir Khetarpal seems to have backed down on his stand and is said to be prepared to accept a few cuts so that the movie would get a 'U/A' certificate.
Sources have it that the Censor board had supposedly told the makers of 'Billa-2' to make 40 more cuts in order to get a U/A. It is also said that the final certificate of the film is expected to be announced in a few days’ time.
Sunir Khetrapal wrote on his microblogging page: “Censor certification process is not over yet, will not compromise on film cuts. Next steps only after getting certificate.”
