It is not unusual for filmmakers to face problems from uncontrollable crowds and fans of the stars during the shooting schedules planned outdoors. If the stars are big and the actresses are famous, the fans usually throng the shooting spot in large numbers for the thrill of watching the shooting process from close quarters.
The shooting schedule of Venkatesh-Mahesh Babu starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC) got a feel of this “crowd disturbance” in a big way. Director Srikanth Addala had no option but to shift the location to shoot a scene involving Mahesh Babu and Prakashraj (who is back in the movie now) at Sanath Nagar. The makers hardly imagined that a huge crowd would arrive at the location to watch the shoot.
Though fans are an inseparable part of any actor’s fame, they can be a great hindrance to film crews shooting outdoors. Even the stars might feel a bit hassled and insecure when facing a large group of people surrounding them. The SVSC unit promptly vacated the location and resumed the shoot at some undisclosed location.
