Superstar Rajnikanth left for Hong Kong in the early hours of Saturday to shoot for Kochadaiyaan. The movie directed by Soundarya R Ashwin, the younger daughter of the numero uno actor of South India, is India's first performance capture photorealistic film.
The movie which has music by A R Rahman, commenced shooting in London last month and was followed by a song sequence that was shot in Kerala recently.
A bevy of top stars including Bollywood veteran Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Nasser, Aadhi, Shobana, and Rukmani among others play prominent roles.
Sources say that two teams involved in the making of Kochadaiyaan also left for Hong Kong from Thiruvananthapuram and Mumbai recently.
