A special screening of Ajith-starrer Billa 2 was arranged for director Shankar recently. The movie distributed by Aascar Films, is said to be nearing completion and is expected to release in June.
Sources have it that the special screening was also attended by director Chakri Toleti and Aascar Ravichandran, and Shankar was seen appreciating Chakri Toleti for his film.
The audio of the film that has Ajith, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah in the lead roles was released on May 1.
Even as Billa 2 gears up to hit theatres, the actor has already begun work on his next movie, which will be directed by Vishnuvardhan, who incidentally worked with Thala in Billa (2007).
