Shivarajkumar has lashed out at distributor Prasad for making derogatory comments about his production company.
Vajreshwari Combines headed by his mother Parvathamma Rajkumar, has been making movies for quite some time now, their recent release was the Puneeth starrer, Anna Bond.
At the audio release of Ee Bhoomi Aa Bhaanu, Prasad is said to have taken pot-shots at the film (Anna Bond) and its production house.The distributor said, “Producers and production companies have been producing films from past five decades are deceiving the people by making films without any stories.”
Neither Shivarajkumar nor his family members reacted to this statement.
But at a recent press conference in Mysore, Shivarajkumar was asked about this, to which he responded, “Our banner has been producing films for many decades and in the recent times we have been making films to cater to the youth, who are our main audience. We know how to make films according to today’s tastes. People have also been encouraging us. If somebody accuses us of not knowing how to do quality films, we cannot stoop down to their level and justify ourselves.”
