The much-awaited release of Balakrishna’s upcoming film Adhinayakudu is said to have suffered another delay. The film, which had two dates fixed earlier for its theatrical release but was postponed for some ‘technical reasons’, may not be releasing in April at all.
After playing 'Lord Ram' in the mythological film Sri Rama Rajyam last year opposite Nayanthara who played ‘Sita’, Balakrishna is back to his best in what is being projected as an action-packed entertainer. The film has the lanky Lakshmi Rai, who had two megahits last year, cast opposite him as the female lead.
The film’s release has been getting postponed for some reason or the other for the past four months. Unconfirmed reports say that the producers didn’t want to risk it at a time when Racha is doing well and might delay the film till Pawan’s Gabbar Singh and Jr. NTR’s Dammu are released in theatres.
Director Paruchuri Murali recently went on record stating that the film is a realistic story which traces the political developments in the state.
