One of yesteryear’s most popular actresses is considering returning to her roots. The still gorgeous looking Jayaprada is said to be seriously considering the option of leaving Uttar Pradesh, where she had been involved in active politics for close to a decade now and return to her native Andhra Pradesh.
Sources close to the 51 year old actress, who had starred in a good number of Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films opposite almost all the top heroes, say that she is weighing the options of returning to AP and aligning herself with the Telugu Desam Party. The Rampur MP was in Tirumala a couple of days ago for a darshan of Lord Venkateswara to seek the Almighty’s blessings on her birthday on April 3.
Scribes surrounded Jayaprada had asked her about rumours of her decision to return to her native State. She is said to have spoken highly of Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP chief, throwing enough hints that she might align herself with that party.
