Sasikumar has made a mark for himself in a short span of time. He started his career with the film Subramaniapuram which was critically acclaimed and also did well at the Box-Office. The actor has since had mixed luck in Kollywood and has even ventured into Mollywood.
Now, the buzz is that he will be donning the lead role in an upcoming film Sundarapandian, which will be directed by his colleague and friend S R Prabhakaran.
Lakshmi, who is playing the female lead in Prabhu Solomon's Kumki, has been roped in to play the heroine in this movie. It is said that Thenmerku Paruvakatru Sethu, Inigo, Appukutty and Suri of Azhagar Samiyin Kuthirai fame also play important roles.
Sources say that the film will be shot in various locations including Karaikudi, Theni, Bodi and Munnar.
