A few years back, veteran actor Thilakan might have been a sore eye for AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists), but that is not the case anymore. With the recent hit Indian Rupee, he has suddenly managed to return to the good books of the artist circle. The latest news is that last week, megastar Mammootty had ringed the veteran actor enquiring about his son Dulquar’s acting calibre.
Dulquar, who had made an impressive landing with the very first hit of the year Second Show, is deemed by Thilakan as much better than his father in calibre. Thilakan adds that the Dulquar has yet to learn a lot from experience and cannot be compared to Shivaji Ganesan, considering that he is just two movies old.
But, the veteran actor has no doubts that young actor has a bright future in the industry. Thilakan is currently working with Dulquar in a role of equal importance for the upcoming Anwar Rasheed movie Usthad Hotel which is almost into its final shoots.
