Sri Ramarajyam, which was billed as actress Nayanthara’s last film, has completed its successful 100-day run. The film, which had Balakrishna and Nayanthara playing the lead roles of Lord Ram and Sita, was directed by Bapu. As if to commemorate its success at the box-office, the makers are now bringing the ‘book version’ of the film’s script and dialogues.
The script for the mythological was penned by M. Venkataramana, who passed away last year, and the original dialogues won’t be changed to facilitate the printing of the book. The book is likely to be formally released in book stores across the State in a couple of days.
Venkataramana had penned scripts and dialogues for many Telugu classics and shared a fruitful association with film-maker Bapu spanning over four decades. In order to honour him for his services to the Telugu film industry, which commenced way back in the mid-sixties with Sakshi, the producers of Sri Ramarajyam are bringing out the film’s script and dialogues in the form of a book.
