She has an hourglass figure, a pretty face and some acting credentials as part of her over-flowing resume. Yet, for some reasons, the slim and svelte Parvathi Melton hasn’t been able to garner much name and fame which is rightfully hers. The year 2012 might just prove to be the turning point in her career, something which she has been eagerly awaiting for the past few years.
Though she was part of the successful film Jalsa (2008) opposite Pawan Kalyan, she couldn’t get much mileage out of the film because of the presence of a couple of heroines in the film in Ileana and Kamalini Mukherjee. She then appeared in the title song of last year’s super-hit film Dookudu along with Mahesh Babu. This song has finally turned out to be her saviour.
Parvathi now has a couple of films in her kitty: one is Yamoha Yamaha with Sairam Shankar while the other is a big-budget film, Kalki, made by Ravikumar Chavali. This one pairs her up with superstar Balakrishna. But once again, she is not the solo heroine but is one of the three heroines.
Parvathi’s efforts in getting ‘bolder’ in Vishnu Babu's Game couldn’t fetch her the desired results. With her lissome figure and a voluptuous body, Parvathi appears to be on the comeback trail. All she needs is one big hit. Let’s hope she gets as soon as possible!
