After Ragini, its Pooja’s turn to be an item girl

The trend of actresses performing item numbers seems to have arrived in Sandalwood too. First it was Ragini accepting to do an item number in Lakshmi. Now it’s Pooja Gandhi’s turn. The lady has accepted to dance for a special item number in Guruprasad's Directors Special.

Guruprasad plans to shoot the song in a touring talkie and is on a lookout for one. While Imraan Sardariya will choreograph Pooja’s dance moves, the song will be composed by Anoop Seelin.

Earlier, Pooja had refused director Lucky Shankar when he had approached her to perform an item song in Devaraane. Apparently, she has accepted Directors Special because of Imraan and Guruprasad.
