The dispute regarding which among the three films must be released first has finally come to an end with both Anna Bond and KVSS being censored and scheduled for a May first week release.
Both the films were censored on April 25 with the Central Board of Film Certification chief Nagaraj and other members watching the films one after the other at the Renukamba preview theatre in Malleshwaram. The Regional board of CBFC has awarded both the films U/A certificates.
With the censor certificates on hand the producers of both the films are eyeing a May first week release. While Anna Bond is scheduled for a May 1st release, KVSS will be released on May 4.
With KVSS releasing on the first week of May, producer K Manju of Godfather has to postpone his film as the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has given a verdict that whichever of the two films gets the censor certificate first, will be eligible for an early release. With KVSS getting the certificate first, Manju has no other choice but to release his film later.
