The elder brother was present to cheer his younger sibling on the eve of the audio-launch of the latter’s latest film. Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi released the audio cassettes and CDs of his younger brother and actor Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Gabbar Singh in Hyderabad a couple of days back. The event witnessed a huge turn-out of fans of both the stars.
As reported earlier, Gabbar Singh is the Telugu remake of the Bollywood superhit film Dabangg which was remade as Osthe in Tamil last year and had Simbu in the lead. Pawan has the stunner Shruti Haasan as his love interest in the film. Held at the Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad, the event witnessed the coming together of the three brothers Chiru, Pawan and Bunny. Producer Bandla Ganesh, director Harish Shankar, Shruthi Hassan, Brahmanandam, Kota, Ali, playback singers Karthik and Shweta Mohan and others were also present.
Music director Devi Sri Prasad’s musical feast along with his team, specially flown-in from Chennai, was certainly the highlight of the evening. Shruti described Pawan as a simple person who assisted her during the film’s making. She added that though she was somewhat nervous during the initial days, the experience in starring in the film was a nice one.
Chiranjeevi said that the audience’s cheers and appreciation are the ‘oxygen’ on which artists like him survived. He assured that his family would continue to entertain the audiences in the years to come. “Pawan would entertain you in Gabbar Singh the same may my son Ram Charan did in his recent release Racha,” he said. Pawan expressed happiness over the presence of Chiranjeevi and other family members and assured his fans that the film would be a wholesome entertainer.
