In a rather surprising move, Deepa Sannidhi, one among the three heroines of the Sudeep starrer Bachchan, has walked out of the film.
Sources say that it was due to Sudeep’s insistence that director Shashank changed Deepa.
However, Shashank has a different story to tell. Shashank says that Deepa has been removed from the film because of the altered script. “Earlier, Deepa had a big role in the film. But we have changed a lot in the script in the recent times, and now I think the role doesn’t suit Deepa anymore. So, with Deepa’s consent we have decided to look for a replacement,” says Shashank. He also added that he was willing to work with her in the future.
Deepa reiterated saying, “When Shashank narrated the script, I found my role very interesting. But now the script has been altered and I don’t have a big role to play. On mutual consent I have decided to move out of the project. I wanted to work with Shashank and I hope I will get an opportunity to work with him in one of his forthcoming films.”
Now that Deepa is out of the project, Shashank is on the lookout for another heroine and he hopes to find one soon.
