Rajamouli has taken up the task of promoting his latest graphical extravaganza Eega on his shoulders, rather than depending on his lead actors or anybody else for this. He is travelling places to promote the film and making bold statements.
Latest being, he compares Eega’s popularity to that of Rajinikanth and went a step ahead saying, “There might be places in the world which doesn’t know Rajinikanth, but everybody knows about Eega (housefly).”
In yet another statement, he said he made Eega because small films demanded more intelligence. “The small films have to depend on story since they do not have stars to help them. Purely for this thrill I took up Eega, but it turned out to be a big film. But the story is the hero of the film,” said the director.
Eega is set for release this Friday.
