The on-going battle between producers Munirathna and K Manju about, who among them should release their film first, has finally come to an end with the intervention of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. The KFCC has decided that whichever film among the two gets the Censor certificate first would stand eligible for an early release.
If everything had gone well, Kataariveera Surasundarangi would have been scheduled for an April 27 release. But producer K Manju claimed that he must be given a chance to release Godfather as he had started the film much before Munirathna’s KVSS. Thus began the battle between the two producers and both of them have been using every single opportunity to claim their apparent right, apart from attacking the other.
In order to put an end to all this, the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has come up with this decision. Munirathna is almost through with his film and is getting ready to release the film on April 27. Meanwhile, K Manju may not be able to release the film before Munirathna as the music director for the film is busy with Kochadiyan in London.
