It’s not often that two beauties starring together in a film tend to get along smoothly. Ileana, one of the top heroines in Telugu, debuted in Tamil films about six years back with Kedi and moved to Telugu films soon after and made a name for herself there. She is now trying out her luck in Bollywood with her debut Hindi film Barfee which is all set to release soon.
The film also stars Priyanka Chopra, a top actress in Bollywood. Reports from the sets of the film say that the two actresses aren’t seeing eye-to-eye on any issue and that trouble has been brewing between the two. Frequent arguments and egoistic clashes between the two are being reported for the past few months.
In order to deal with the issue in a diplomatic manner, Priyanka said some time back that there was no ‘issue’ between her and Ileana. “In my view, Ileana is a very beautiful and mightily talented actress,” said Priyanka, who has signed up the Telugu-Hindi bilingual Zanjeer opposite Ram Charan Teja at a reported price of Rs.9 crores, over-taking many of her contemporaries when it comes to charging maximum fee per film.
On her part, Ileana has said that though Priyanka was a talented actress, she can hardly be classified as a ‘friend’. This was a brief enough hint that nothing has been going well between the two. Sources close to Ileana say that Priyanka has been purposely postponing her part of the acting schedules in Barfee so that it might further delay the curvaceous Ileana’s Bollywood entry.
