National award winning director Sargunam is all set to start his next venture titled Sottavalakutty with Dhanush (another National award winner) in the lead.
Sargunam, who climbed the ladder of success with Kalavani and Vaagai Soodava, has chosen a hilarious village-based script for the movie.
Sources have it that Dhanush was so impressed listening to Sargunam's story that he readily agreed to do it.
The movie is produced by Kathiresan’s Group, which produced Dhanush- starrers Polladhavan and Aadukalam earlier. Sources close to Sargunam say that the film will be on the lines of Kalavani, but will be more interesting and hilarious.
Shooting for the movie would begin in September and would be shot in Hosur, Nagercoil, Dindigul and Kumbakonam.
