Karthika Nair has a word of advice for her little sister Thulasi, who is set to enter Kollywood with Mani Ratnam's film Kadal, which is busy in the making.
The Ko actress said that Tulasi has come under the wings of ace director Mani Ratnam and his actress wife Suhasini Mani Ratnam, who are taking good care of her. However, she is of the opinion that Tulasi should learn by herself. In this regard, Karthika said that she wasn't spoon-fed by mother Radha and learnt on her own to be at her natural best.
She feels Tulasi should do likewise and find her way through in the highly competitive film industry.
Karthika said Tulasi could have given acting a miss as she is only in class X now. However, she said “who wouldn't want to be part of such a dream debut, with one of the best directors of all time helming the project, and music maestro A R Rahman setting tunes.”
