Minsara Kanavu director to do a film on MSS

Remember cinematographer-director Rajiv Menon, who directed films like Minsara Kanavu and Kandukondein Kandukondein? The cameraman is now ready with his next venture, a bio-pic of legendary singer M S Subbulakshmi.

Sources said that the acclaimed photographer is keen to do the film on the singer, who earned global acclaim for her sublime voice and mellifluous rendition of classical songs.

Rajiv is currently working in some big projects like Kochadaiyaan and Kadal and plans to start his film after completing these projects. However we hear that pre-production for the film has already begun.

But it is unclear, whether Rajiv's project would be a feature film or a documentary on the legend.
