Mithra Kurien who made her debut in Tamil playing Asin’s friend in the Vijay-starrer Kaavalan, hasn’t been able to get a foothold in Kollywood ever since.
However, she is rather busy with Malayalam projects and is excited about her role in her upcoming film Nandanam. Incidentally, she had meaty roles in Masters and Grandmaster, which the actress feels has provided a platform for her in Malayalam.
Sources have it that the Kaavalan girl is gearing up to play the second, heroine-centric role in her career with Nandanam. The movie directed by Shyamalan will star Kollywood legend Shivaji Ganesan's grandson Shivaji Dev.
