Actress Nandita Das is returning to the filmdom after a break. Incidentally on her comeback, she will be acting in a Tamil film titled Neer Paravai, to be directed by National Award Winner Seenu Ramaswamy.
Speaking at a function in Mumbai, the dusky actress said that she would be doing two films in May. She also added that it would be her first time donning the greasepaint after her child was born.
She said that both the films have very interesting plots with rural characters, but there are no songs.
About the storyline, she said, “The Tamil film is about the fishermen community. How a fisherman is lost at sea and how fishermen are either held captive or shot because they cross the border.”
Nandita is expected to start shooting for both the films next month. The actress, who has already directed a film titled Firaaq, is also keen to direct again.
