Reports about Puneeth acting in the remake of Tamil hit Poraali has been confirmed. The film which will go on floors in the 2nd week of May has been titled Yaare Koogadali.
About two months back, there was a buzz in Sandalwood that Poraali will be remade in Kannada and director Samudrakani, the director of the original will be directing the Kannada version too.
Though Puneeth Rajkumar as well as his brother and producer Raghavendra Rajkumar did not deny it, they did not confirm it either. They said it was too early to talk about it and that they were only concentrating on making Anna Bond at that time. Now that the film is on the verge of release, the remake of Poraali has been confirmed and the title has already been registered with the KFCC.
