Popular Telugu film director S S Rajamouli has said that he wants to do a film on the legendary king Krishnadevaraya. The director said that he was a Kannadiga by birth and hails from Raichur in Karnataka at a press meet of his upcoming film Eega in Bangalore.
When asked if he would direct a Kannada film, he said, “I have great interest in history and I am toying with the idea of directing some historical films out of which I am planning to direct a film on the legendary king Krishnadevaraya. He was one king who brought name and fame both to Karnataka as well as Andhra Pradesh. I will definitely direct the film in the future.”
But the film might not hit the floors soon as Rajamouli will start a new film for Prabhas once Eega is released on July 6.
