Ram Gopal Varma is planning a sequel to his 90’s blockbuster movie Sathya. Sathya was a trend setter and established Ramgopal Varma in Bollywood. Based on Mumbai Mafia, it is considered as one of Hindi cinema’s all-time great movies.
The film introduced the brilliant actor Manoj Bajpai and showed Urmila Matondkar in a new avatar, who until then was considered a glamour girl. Apart from being a box-office hit, the film also won critical acclaim.
After over a decade, director Ram Gopal Varma is planning to direct a sequel to Sathya. Actor John Abraham, who turned producer with Vicky Donor, will be producing the film. The script is said to be almost ready, but the actors are yet to be finalised. It is not known whether John will be a part of the cast.
