Relief for producers?

To say that film producers are a harried lot would be an understatement. There seems to be some relief if one goes by what the Film and Television Producers Guild of India has decided.

Reports have it that the Film and Television Producers Guild of India has decided that all actors will have to pay their staff from their own pocket.

It has to be noted that till now, producers had to bear the additional expenses of an actor's personal make-up staff, driver, hair stylist, personal trainers, etc.

A few top Bollywood actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are said to have agreed to the decision, and the producers are happy.

Will their counterparts in Kollywood follow the suit? One has to wait and watch.
